Spark Hire Pricing: What Spark Hire Actually Costs
Spark Hire's video interviews start from $249/month billed annually, or $299/month month-to-month with a cap of 5 jobs at a time and 5 users. Every price is a floor: "Pricing varies by company size". Its ATS runs from $335/month (Recruit Pro), annual contract only, no free trial published. 1Way Interview: from $13.99/month billed annually, no per-job cap, 14-day free trial, no credit card.
Yes. $13.99-$209.99/mo, billed annually, all published.
Yes. ATS from $335 and $499/mo, video interviews from $299 or $249/mo. Enterprise: "Talk to Sales".
Cheapest way to run video interviews
$13.99/mo annual ($167.88/yr) or $19.99/mo monthly. Over 17x cheaper on annual billing.
From $249/mo annual ($2,988/yr, unlimited jobs and users) or from $299/mo monthly. Both are floors: "Pricing varies by company size".
What the entry plan limits
No per-job or seat cap on any plan. Sized by interviews per month instead.
$299/mo plan caps at 5 jobs at a time and 5 users. Annual billing removes both caps.
Applicant tracking system
Included, but lightweight: storage, statuses, scorecards, team comments, integrates with your ATS. Not a full ATS suite (no requisitions or reference checks); Spark Hire Recruit is more complete there.
Sold separately: Recruit Pro from $335/mo ($4,020/yr), Recruit Growth from $499/mo ($5,988/yr), Enterprise on quote. Pro bundles video interviews and reference checks.
What the price scales on
Interviews per month, published per plan. Hire the same amount with twice the staff and your bill does not move.
Headcount, not hiring, on every product ("Pricing varies by company size"). ATS prices cover up to 50 employees, then scale; Pro caps at 200, Growth at 500.
Contract term
Monthly or annual on every plan. Cancel or downgrade at any time, no lock-in.
ATS (Recruit) plans: annual contract only. Video interviews and the assessment: month to month, at the higher rate.
Free trial
14 days free, no credit card. Then $13.99/mo annual or $19.99/mo monthly.
None published. FAQ: no free trial for new customers; monthly billing is the low-commitment option instead.
Cost of AI screening
Included from the SME plan up, $34.99/mo annual ($419.88/yr). Not on Starter.
Included on every Recruit tier, but AI Resume Review is metered: 6,000/yr Pro, 24,000 Growth, 36,000 Enterprise (extra credits on request). Cheapest door to Spark Hire AI starts at $249/mo.
Predictive behavioral assessment
Not offered. We do AI screening of interview answers, not psychometric or behavioral assessment.
Gated to Recruit Growth ($499/mo) and Enterprise; not on Pro. Sold standalone from $249/mo.
What costs extra
Extra interviews from $0.57 each, published; credits never expire. Nothing else metered on top.
Paid add-ons: API access, Dayforce/UKG Pro/Workday integrations, SSO on Pro and Growth. Migrating 5,000+ candidates is quoted separately.
Implementation
Nothing to implement and nothing to pay. Self-serve setup, first interview live in about 15 minutes.
No implementation fee published either way. Support and training included; most ATS customers live within 30 days.
Cost to see it working
Nothing. Sign up, build a position, send the link today.
A paid month. Video interviews self-serve from $299; ATS routes to "Book a demo", no trial first.
Spark Hire publishes real numbers, but sells three products and sizes each one by your headcount.
1
Step 1
Work out which of the three products you are buying
Spark Hire sells three things separately: an applicant tracking system, video interviews, and a behavioral assessment. Spark Hire acquired Comeet and Chally in 2023 and renamed them Spark Hire Recruit (ATS) and Spark Hire Meet (interviews, assessments).
Meet: from $299/mo monthly (capped at 5 jobs at a time and 5 users) or $249/mo annual ($2,988/yr, unlimited); ATS: Recruit Pro from $335/mo, Recruit Growth from $499/mo. Every figure is footnoted "Pricing varies by company size" and was read off sparkhire.com/pricing on 26 July 2026.

Step 2
Check your headcount, because that is what every published price is indexed to
Every Spark Hire price card is footnoted "Pricing varies by company size", on video interviews and the assessment too, not just the ATS. The published ATS prices are for companies up to 50 employees; above that it scales with headcount, Pro capped at 200 employees and Growth at 500.
We price on interviews per month, not headcount. See the published plans below, pick your volume, and change it whenever that volume changes.

Step 3
Add the commitment, the add-ons, and the AI meter
All Recruit (ATS) plans are annual contract only, with no free trial published; video interviews and the assessment can instead be bought month to month, at the higher rate. Add-ons cost extra: API access, Dayforce/UKG Pro/Workday integrations, and SSO on Pro and Growth (included on Enterprise; migrating 5,000+ candidates quoted separately).
Spark Hire does not gate AI to top tiers: every AI feature is on Recruit Pro, and the monthly Meet plan includes it too. Only the AI Resume Review volume is metered by tier (see the table above); the cheapest door to Spark Hire AI starts at $249/mo, against $34.99/mo for our SME plan with AI test validation included. Buyer checklist
Five things to confirm before you sign
Spark Hire publishes list prices. The gap between the list price and your price is where the surprises live.
1Confirm your employee count: every price is a floor ("Pricing varies by company size"); ATS rates cover up to 50 employees, Pro caps at 200, Growth at 500.
2Get your actual price in writing for your headcount, not the starting figure on the page.
3Ask which paid add-ons you need: API access, SSO below Enterprise, Dayforce/UKG Pro/Workday integrations.
4Check your AI Resume Review volume against the 6,000/24,000/36,000-a-year tier caps, and price extra credits.
5Get the renewal price in writing: the ATS is annual contract only, with no published trial to test it first.
Spark Hire Recruit is a real applicant tracking system: requisitions, collaborative hiring workflows, automated reference checks, unlimited admin and hiring-manager seats, and on Growth a validated predictive behavioral assessment inherited from Chally. If you are replacing an ATS and adding video screening at the same time, and want one vendor and one contract for the whole funnel, that bundle is worth paying for. The question is whether you are buying the suite or only the interviews.
The alternative
If you only need the interviews, the price changes completely
Sending candidates a set of questions and watching the answers starts at $2,988 a year on Spark Hire Meet billed annually, before the company-size adjustment its pricing page footnotes. With us it is $167.88 a year, from $13.99 per month, no per-job or seat cap, AI test validation included from the $34.99 per month SME plan up, and a 14-day free trial with no credit card. The price you see is the price everyone pays.
No credit card required to start. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime.
Spark Hire pricing: frequently asked questions
Short answers, taken from Spark Hire’s own published pricing page rather than from third-party estimates.
It depends which of its three products you buy, because they are priced separately. Video interviews (Spark Hire Meet) start at $299 per month month-to-month, or $249 per month billed annually, which is $2,988 a year. The behavioral assessment is priced the same way. The applicant tracking system (Spark Hire Recruit) starts at $335 per month for Recruit Pro and $499 per month for Recruit Growth, with Enterprise on quote. Read all of these as floors rather than rates: Spark Hire footnotes every card with "Pricing varies by company size". On the ATS it is explicit, where the published figures are the rates for companies with up to 50 employees and the price scales with your employee count above that.
No, and it is worth correcting because the claim is common. Every AI feature on Spark Hire's pricing table, including AI-assisted job descriptions, AI-suggested screening questions, AI candidate search, AI Video Review, AI summaries of one-way interviews and transcription, is available on Recruit Pro, the entry ATS tier, as well as on Growth and Enterprise. The monthly video-interview plan includes Spark Hire AI too. What is tiered is volume: AI Resume Review is metered at 6,000 reviews a year on Pro, 24,000 on Growth and 36,000 on Enterprise, and additional credits are quoted on request. The difference that actually matters is the price of entry. The cheapest plan with Spark Hire AI starts at $249 per month, before the company-size adjustment its pricing page footnotes; our SME plan includes AI test validation at $34.99 per month billed annually, the same price for everyone.
For the applicant tracking system, yes: all Recruit plans are only available under an annual contract. Video interviews and the predictive behavioral assessment can be bought month to month, at the higher monthly rate, and that is the option Spark Hire itself points at when buyers want to avoid a long commitment. 1Way Interview is monthly or annual on every plan, and you can downgrade, pause or cancel at any time.
Several things are add-ons rather than inclusions. API access is a paid add-on. The Dayforce, UKG Pro and Workday integrations each require a paid add-on. Single sign-on is an add-on on both Recruit Pro and Recruit Growth and is only included on Enterprise. Additional AI Resume Review credits are quoted on request, and migrating more than 5,000 candidates is quoted separately. Spark Hire does include implementation support and training for new ATS customers, and it does not publish a separate implementation fee.
If one-way video interviews are the job to be done, 1Way Interview starts at $13.99 per month billed annually, which is $167.88 a year against $2,988 for Spark Hire Meet on the same annual billing, so more than 17 times cheaper, and that is against Spark Hire's floor before any company-size adjustment. There is no per-job cap, no seat cap, no implementation fee, a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and extra interviews are published at $0.57 each with credits that never expire. For a feature-by-feature view rather than a cost view, see our Spark Hire comparison page at onewayinterview.com/spark-hire-alternatives/.
Yes. This is worth stating plainly because a lot of comparison pages still say the opposite. Spark Hire used to show "Contact us for pricing" and moved to published dollar figures during 2026, so any page telling you that you have to book a demo to get a number is describing a retired state. You do still have to book a demo to buy the ATS tiers, but the prices themselves are on the page.
No free trial is published. Spark Hire's FAQ states that it does not offer a free trial for new customers, and points buyers at monthly billing as the lower-commitment way to try the product instead. That means the cheapest way to evaluate Spark Hire is to pay for a month at $299. 1Way Interview gives you 14 days free with no credit card, and the paid plans start at $13.99 per month billed annually or $19.99 month to month.
Because that is what its prices are indexed to, on every product. Each card on the pricing page is footnoted "Pricing varies by company size", video interviews and behavioral assessment included, not only the ATS. On the ATS it is spelled out: the published Recruit prices are the rates for companies with up to 50 employees, and above 50 the price scales with employee count, with Recruit Pro available up to 200 employees and Recruit Growth up to 500. That means your bill tracks the size of your company rather than the amount of hiring you actually do, and it goes up as you grow even if your hiring volume stays flat. Our plans are sized on interviews per month, so you pay for what you use.
The $299 per month monthly video-interview plan runs video interviews for up to 5 jobs at a time and allows up to 5 users on the account. To lift either cap you move to annual billing from $249 per month, which makes jobs and users unlimited but commits you for a year. Our plans have no per-job cap and no seat cap at any price; they are sized by how many interviews you run per month.
When you want one vendor for the whole funnel rather than the cheapest way to run interviews. Spark Hire Recruit is a genuine applicant tracking system with pipeline management, automated reference checks and a validated predictive behavioral assessment on the Growth tier, and Recruit Pro bundles video interviews into that. If you are replacing an ATS as well as adding video screening, comparing it against a standalone interview tool on price alone is not a like-for-like comparison. We include a lightweight built-in ATS rather than a full ATS suite, and we do not sell a behavioral assessment at all, and we would rather say so than pretend the products are interchangeable.
